Propeller Repairs: If you have a propeller that needs to be repaired, please read the following summary of the process.

In the first instance we need to establish that you propeller is repairable. Even though carriage is inexpensive these days, we strongly suggest that with our help you establish this fact prior to shipping it to us.

Ideally, we would like to see a photograph. Sometimes a verbal or written explanation is good enough but a photograph is foolproof. If you have a digital camera, simply take a couple of snaps of the damage and email the pictures over. If you’re still using a traditional camera, post us the photographs to the address on the contacts page. Don’t forget to make sure we know who sent them in!!

In order to give you an accurate quotation we will ideally need to know the diameter and pitch. We can see from the photo how many blades it has and what material it is, so a two-minute photo shoot plus one quick measure and your work is done.

We will come back to you with prices, and you can then decide whether you wish to proceed. If you do, we will get the prop collected for you so that you can take advantage of our carriage rates. (Typically less than £10 each way)! You don’t even have to get yourself to the Post Office!
